What is LightStim?

LightStim is a non-invasive, painless treatment system that uses low-level light therapy or LLLT. LLLT has been shown to increase wound healing, relieve pain, decrease inflammation, heal wounds, and regenerate tissues.

LLLT utilizes red light energy. When red light energy is applied to our cells, it is converted to a usable form, in a similar way that plants are able to use energy from sunlight to grow. In this way, LLLT stimulates cellular healing and boosts circulation.

The LightStim device uses LLLT wavelengths between 600nm-900nm. We have two units, the LightStim Anti-aging Pro-Panel and the LightStim For Pain Pro-Panel. The anti-aging panel specifically targets skin health, wound healing, and wrinkle reduction. The pain reduction panel has many of the same wavelengths and similar benefits to the anti-aging panel, but adds a deep infrared to penetrate deeper and relieve pain in deeper tissues, making it an ideal treatment for patients post surgery.

How does LightStem LED Light Therapy Work?

The LightStim device exposes the skin to light-emitting diodes (LED.) The different wavelengths of light penetrates into the skin at different depths to trigger different cellular responses. The LightStim ProPanel Anti-Aging heats the deeper tissues of the skin, which stimulates the natural rejuvenation process. Red light triggers the production of collagen and elastin, which provides healing and rejuvenation and increases circulation.
